Responsible for providing accounting and clericalsupport to Corporate Accounting Department personnel as related specifically toCorporate banking and cash activities. Maintainsaccounting document files related to incoming and outgoing cash transactions,wire/ACH payments and bank transfers. Responsible for verification and initiating wires/ACH from corporatecash accounts and the reconciliation of such transactions. Keys daily entriesto the accounting system related to corporate banking transactions. Assist the Accounting Department as AccountsPayable back up and provide additional accounting support as needed with monthend close. Keys daily incoming and outgoing cash transactions (deposits, wires, and back transfers) to corporate accounting system. Maintains files, including filing of banking/cash documentation, accounts receivable documentation, and other miscellaneous filing. Verifies authenticity and initiates daily wire and ACHs from corporate bank accounts as requested/required. Prepares monthly cash forecast report for VP Treasury. Back up to processing daily accounts payable invoices to corporate accounting system. Assist to resolve disputed items and answer questions. Assists with miscellaneous month end task as needed. Business Degree preferred with emphasis in Accounting Three to five years demonstrated experience working in an accounting department Excel and Word skills a must Excellent attendance record Good verbal and written communication skills as well as professional telephone skills required Ability to interface well with all departments Must be adaptable to routine and repetitive tasks Working ConditionsThe physical demands and work environmentcharacteristics described here are representative of those that must be met byan employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions.
