Clinical Director
Mobile Heart Specialists, P.C. a private cardiology practice in Mobile, AL, is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill our position of Clinical Director. We are looking for someone that has a strong work ethic, is goal:oriented and results driven. The Clinical Director, working directly under the practice Administrator, will be responsible for providing leadership for the coordination of services through the continuum of care and direction in balancing quality patient care with cost effective utilization of resources.
Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Supervisor responsibility for all clinic, diagnostic and research staff (clinical
* Develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures within the clinical departments
* Provide leadership, training and supervision
* Participate in planning, creating and implementing strategies for resolution of identified clinical issues
* Receive and appropriately handle patient grievances related to clinical services
* Perform quality assurance and record keeping duties
* Evaluate work performance of clinical personnel
* Participate in recruitment and selection of clinical personnel
* Orients and directs training of staff members upon hire, ensuring staff member receives sufficient direction to perform job duties
* Promote teamwork, mutual respect and effective communications
* Oversee all clinical compliance issues
* Promote compliance with accident prevention procedures, safety rules, and safe work practices
* Ability to set high standards of performance as outcome driven leader
* Adhere to code of ethics and ensure compliance with all departmental rules and regulations
* Act as resource leader and provide oversight to all clinical staff
* Responsible for assuring compliance with regulations related to OSHA, CLIA, MACRA and MIPS. Coordinates any needed and/or required education and training.
* Responsible for ensuring that quality measures related to any quality initiatives programs, such as MACRA, and MIPS, are properly configured and maintained within the electronic medical records system.
* Responsible for the gathering and submission of data, related to quality initiatives, and ongoing compliance in areas related to OSHA, CLIA, MACRA, and MIPS.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT related issues within the departments.
* Participation in continuing education to improve individual, departmental and organizational performance
* Respond and adapt to changing expectations by altering goals and objectives, reprioritizing as necessary
* BSN degree preferred
* Current state of Alabama RN license
* BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
* 5 or more years of full:time direct work experience providing clinical supervision
* Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
