The Gulf Bowl and Eastern Shore Lanes has over 52 years of being the leader in the recreation and leisure products industry.We are currently in need of multiple Full Time Counter Control Operators in Management for our Center located in Foley, Al and Spanish Fort, Al. Counter Control Operators provide guests with prompt, efficient, courteous service, and ensure that maximum utilization of lanes and equipment is realized through efficient control of the flow of guests.Duties and Responsibilities:> Make sure all employees are doing their jobs at bowling counter, arcade and any other part of the center.>Learning and training employees in all aspects of the center and know of all our specials and prices. To answer the telephone and know our products and prices in all departments of the center.>Covering shifts when others cal off, that means having a working phone where other management personnel can locate you in case we need your services at any point and time. To be available when we have tournaments and sometime s overtime may be necessary.>Required to attend all mandatory Management meeting and then conveying what we have implemented and gone over in these meetings to your staff.> Making sure that all check list are done and closing responsibilities are done and the end of your shift. All doors are locked and alarm set. Responsible for the closing down of the drawers and counting the money, locking safe as well.>Reporting to Lisa Jacaboson of any problems that need to resolved or any action that may be needed by upper management team.>Learning the oiling machine/patterns, stops and making sure that things are ready for leagues, tournaments and open play. Writing up incident reports and learning how to handle these incidents in the best interest for the company.A cents € cents Greets guests and informs guests of center services, promotions, and prices. Sells center services (specials, leagues, tournaments, bar, food).A cents € cents Properly assigns guests to lanes, takes reservations and manages waiting lists when necessaryA cents € cents Keeps track of open play lanes (activity and inactivity) and assigns them to customersA cents € cents Rents shoes, sanitizes them upon return and helps customers locate suitable house balls. Visually inspects and maintains quality of rental shoesA cents € cents Operates register, control panel, computer, Cosmic equipment, and P/AA cents € cents Maintains safe work environment and maintains safe environment for guestsA cents € cents Handles complaints, using judgment as to which ones refer to management. Handles customer telephone inquiriesA cents € cents Notifies Mechanic or Pinsetter Technician promptly of any mechanical failuresA cents € cents Maintains records of daily operation, as requiredA cents € cents Handles cash and transactions in accordance with company policies and proceduresA cents € cents Counts cash drawer per company proceduresA cents € cents Provides friendly, courteous, polite, and helpful guest serviceA cents € cents Assists guests with automatic scorers and bumpersWeekends are required and must be available for any HolidaysCompany DescriptionCole & Cole, Inc,. dba The Gulf Bowl and Captain's Choice Restaurant2881 S.
