Position Summary:

The North American Industrial Cryogenic Sales Manager will grow Worthingtons cryogenics business by finding solutions to market needs in cryogenic industrial gas pressure vessels and systems, and by executing technical sales to customers. This position will partner with sales engineers or other positions the grow the business.

:Establish customer needs, voice of the customer, and design inputs for large products to be adapted from Worthington:Aritas product portfolio.
:Drive industrial gas cryogenic product growth alongside i:gas sales team.
:Launch new cryogenic i:gas products in the US and worldwide
:Meet with executive, sales, engineering and other internal teams

Skill and Abilities:
:Ability to present value proposition to customers for technical products along multiple points in the decision making cycle
:Understanding of how to empathize with customers and establish articulated and unarticulated needs
:Must be able to make purchasing process seamless for customers and manage the relationship with our cryogenic plants to meet customer expectations
:Financial understanding of basic profit and loss, and how to make a business case for new products
:Understands basic of product development process and help translate customer needs into specifications and product look/feel/function
:Ability to relate with broad set of internal people from top management, sales, new product development and operations
:Understanding of some markets relevant to cryogenic preferred. This could include transport trailers and ISO containers, cryogenic storage, vaporization and delivery, pressure vessels, and industrial gas
:Existing customer contacts a plus
:Understanding marketing ROI and how to manage a product launch

:Bachelors degree in a technical field preferred
:Experience in Cryogenics, customer or heavy equipment, industrial gas, or pressure vessels preferred
:5 : 10 years of experience in Engineering, Technical Sales/Marketing or Product management preferred but not required.
