Where the Chemistry Happens...
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer Resource to collaborate with our Central Gulf Regional Service Center to develop scope and provide general support in several key areas.

Formula for Success: You Will...
: Perform Process Design and Detail Engineering duties including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, and sizing and selection of equipment for Tenders (as required) and for awarded Projects. Review client tender documents, specifications, datasheets, and verify FEED design and calculations.
: Prepare engineering deliverables (Drawings and Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P and IDs, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Cause and Effect Diagrams, control philosophies, shutdown philosophies, and HAZOP Studies and reports, Review and consult operation and maintenance manuals and providing necessary input to other disciplines and departments.
: Develop and issue RFQs, evaluate of vendors quotations, clarifications, and conduct Technical Bid Analysis.
: Review of vendors documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications, and calculations.
: Size relief devices and equipment, update PFDs and P and IDs, process equipment specifications, and final selection.

Qualifications : BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You...
: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
: A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing/process engineering in a chemical plant
: Experience in process safety required. .
: Results:oriented with strong implementation skills.
: Experience working in Projects as a Process Engineering Lead; familiarity with process automation and controls a plus.
: Excellent communication skills, both writ
